Japan-India Friendship Year 2007
This
year's India-Japan Friendship Club (NPO)
will celebrate 1 day India-Japan
cultural exchange event, The aim of this event to know more about Indian culture
by participating like Indian classic, traditional music and dance as well as movie,
Yoga, Ayurveda, Rakugo, Indian Vegetarian food (on banana leaves), variety of
booths will be seen Indian tourist Office, Mehendi, Saris, Spice market in Osaka
Doutonbori held as a Event for Japan-India Friendship Year 2007.
Taking
the opportunity of former Prime Minister Mr.Junichiro Koizumi's official visit
to India in 2005, both the Prime Ministers, Mr.Junichiro
Koizumi and Mr. Manmohan Singh have signed a bilateral agreement on an action
plan under the title "Eight-fold Initiative for Strengthening Japan-India
Global Partnership."
For implementation of this action plan, It
is being planned actively to launch various cultural events in both the countries
for a year commencing from January 2007.
We eagerly, look forward to
the enthusiastic participation of all of you, in making the India-Japan cultural
exchange event a great success!
